Post-2008 Irrigation Company Acquisitions | This sheet shows all leases and purchases made in the Muddy Valley Irrigation Company, Mesquite Irrigation Company and Bunkerville Irrigation Company from WY 2009 to date. |
For database structure purposes there are two types of shares listed: Preferred and Common. These two types of shares only exist in Muddy Valley Irrigation Company (MVIC) where Preferred shares get 100% of the Summer (May-Sep) water and 75% of the Winter (Oct-Apr) water diverted by MVIC. Common shares get 25% of the winter water. Mesquite (MIC) and Bunkerville (BIC) only have one type/class of share, but for database structure purposes they stored under the "Common" shares heading. | |
Some of the total amounts may not add up precisely to the "Spent Column" as some people who were leasing shares to SNWA decided to sell the shares to SNWA part way through the lease term. The money paid for the partial lease was prorated and subtracted from the total purchase price. | |
Fees Paid to Irrigation Companies | A list of annual fees paid to Bunkerville, Mesquite, and Muddy Valley Irrigation Companies as assessments and agreed upon Operation and Maintenance fees to assist with the conveyance of SNWA's controlled irrigation company shares to the Muddy and Virgin Rivers. |
