The Bureau of Reclamation announced nearly $177 million in funding for water projects in Colorado.
The funds will help address the impacts of drought and climate change on water supplies and ecosystems.
The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) supported several of the awardees with matching funds and technical assistance.
Funded projects include drought resiliency, irrigation system modernization, water rights preservation, and wildfire mitigation.
CWCB is committed to continuing to partner with communities to secure federal funding and implement solutions for water challenges.
The 2025 Federal Technical Assistance Grant application cycle will be announced this Spring.
